I enjoy making small improvements to my work space. A lot of these improvements happen on the fly, as the need or notice arises, in the middle of other projects.

Recently, after becoming frustrated with the plastic caps on my bench vise handle always falling off (and sending the handle straight to the floor), I decided to just ditch ’em and made a couple leather caps in their place.

This was a pretty quick project, almost instantly gratifying, and the result is so much more pleasing to me.

It’s all the little details that make one’s space their own.
