buckles and leather

The Buckle Wallet has finally made it to the shop. I love these little guys! I made the first of these back in December, on a night when I had so much work to do it was ridiculous. Sometimes a creative break is exactly what’s needed though.

I had cut some leather for wrap wallets, and then realized I had cut the wrong leather. Instead of setting it aside, I felt stirred up to make something with it. Some buckles, a couple cuts of malt leather, a little bit of brainstorming, a small amount of trial and error… and this little wallet was born.
